Love and Thunder Will Provide Answers to the Questions of Romance Between Thor and Jane Foster

Thor: Love and Thunder will see the surprising return of Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman, who is back to play Jane Foster.

The actress was last seen in a supporting role on the popular Marvel franchise in 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, before again appearing as a cameo in Avengers: Endgame. However, she was a surprising omission in Thor: Ragnarok, when Taika Waititi took over the franchise.

In Ragnarok, it was stated that Jane and Thor had mutually broken up, with the latter even expressing about the sadness he endured, because of his lost love during the events of Endgame.

However, it seems like the saga between Jane and Thor hasn’t ended just yet, with the former returning as the Mighty Thor in the upcoming film.

In an interview with Total Film, Thor star Chris Hemsworth confirmed that the movie will explore a bit into what happened in his character’s relationship with the new Mighty Thor.

Additionally, Hemsworth even mentioned that the movie will offer explanations on who, what and how it ended between the two Gods of Thunder as well.

In the end, it’s very likely that Taika and co. will finally respond to all the important questions that fans have had about Jane Foster’s disappearance and reappearance as well, and these queries will be answered, when the movie releases on July 7.
